European Projects

_MINUS3-RAZREZ_01
MINUS 3% (http://www.minus3.org) The project aims at implementing shining examples of the European EES Directive (2006/32/EC) and by this means demonstrate the possibility for city authorities to reduce CO2 emissions by 3% per year.

fresh

FRESH (http://www.fresh-project.eu) Low-income households are hit especially hard by rising fuel prices. With only 3% of social housing stock being refurbished every year, there is strong need for new financing schemes. The FRESH project tries to open the way by introducing the offer of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) in this area.
permanent PERMANENT (http://www.permanent-project.eu) The project is aimed at increasing the knowledge about measurement and verification of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects as these are important tools for removing the distrust placed in projected savings and payback by financial institutions and decision makers.
prometheus
PROMETHEUS (http://www.prometheus-iee.eu) The project supports the provision of energy and energy efficiency service supply by SMEs. It aims at pushing customer confidence and communication.
eesi EESI (http://www.european-energy-service-initiative.net) The European Energy Service Initiative (EESI) broadly promotes the implementation of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC), drawing on products developed by former EU projects. It awards the “European Energy Service Award”.
esoli ESOLi (http://www.esoli.org) ESOLi aims to increase the awareness of intelligent street lighting and accelerate the use of the best available technologies across Europe by assessing energy savings.
biosolesco BioSolESCo (http://www.biosolesco.org) The project promotes the use of biomass and solar heat in both public and private sectors via the ESCo approach. Investment models, contracts and other relevant issues are analysed.
